Why I Became a Divorce Attorney and a Marriage Exit Strategist
Aug 01, 2025
A friend recently sent me a photo from the summer before law school.
We were standing together at the CLEO Program at Arizona State, full of hope, nerves, and ambition — not fully sure what kind of lawyers we’d become… but already feeling the weight of what we wanted to stand for.
Looking back, it’s clear:
Even then, I was the one who prepared.
Who planned.
Who protected.
I’ve always been the person who pays attention to what’s coming, sees the bigger picture, and makes sure others are ready for it.
So it makes sense that I became a divorce attorney — and eventually, a Marriage Exit Strategist.
Why I Do This Work
Most people think divorce attorneys only show up once the paperwork is filed or the courtroom battle begins.
But that’s not how I work.
💡 As a Marriage Exit Strategist, I support women all over the country who are at the beginning of this process.
They’re not filing yet.
They’re still gathering information, asking questions, and trying to make sense of what their next move should be.
They don’t want chaos — they want clarity.
I help them make a smart plan to protect their children, their money, their peace of mind, and their long-term future.
I help them become stronger — emotionally, financially, and legally — so that when the time comes to take action, they’re ready.
No more guessing.
No more second-guessing.
Just a clear, powerful path forward.
From Strategy to Legal Support
Once my clients are ready to move forward, I step in as their divorce attorney in North Carolina — handling negotiations, mediation, and litigation if needed.
Whether we’re drafting documents, preparing arguments, or standing in court, I make sure their voice is heard — and their future is protected.
Because divorce isn’t just about what’s ending.
It’s about what comes next.
And I want that next chapter to be calm, confident, and full of possibility.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
If you’re thinking about divorce but don’t know where to start —
You don’t need a lawyer yet.
You need a plan.
That’s why I created the Marriage Exit Roadmap™ — a free guide to help you get clear on your next steps, protect what matters, and start moving forward without panic or pressure.
Because you don’t have to leave wrecked.
You can leave ready.
